The changing nature of today's society poses a series of challenges, particularly the need to train citizens who are digitally competent, able to decode information, give it a new meaning and transform it into applied knowledge. In addition, there is a need to develop new ways of teaching and learning focused on the student and on the collaborative and shared construction of knowledge, drawing on digital technologies as facilitating elements. This makes the course relevant to current needs and ensures its students have excellent prospects for the future.

The master’s degree can be pursued in two forms: the professional pathway and the research pathway. The research pathway is linked to the doctoral program in Education and Society offered by the Faculty of Teacher Training.
